Hey guys. I'm going to try to get on the forums every once in a while so that I don't lose touch with you all. My AIM is xanimatristex if you wanna talk sometime and my email is johnsont@etown.edu.

What made me want to quit?  
-Tired of fighting the same mobs over...and over...and over again.
-Tired of spending hours on end doing the same thing over...and over again. (Haste, bar<insert element here>, cure III, Regen III, wash, rinse, repeat)
-I let the game affect my schoolwork and my time with my friends. I stayed inside playing this damn game sooooo many nights when I should have gone out with friends and had a blast.
-I can't believe that I would actually stay up until the early hours of the morning to get exp, get an avatar, or EVERY avatar (god damn you fenrir), and doing missions/quests...
-There are too many things going on in RL for me to play anymore.

I appreciate all of the great times I've had with you guys. Core, Baha, Omni, Ephron, Baudan...I'm glad we started this linkshell.
You guys and girls are all fun to talk to and I will definitely miss the randomness and immaturity of our LS. I am going to have to live with the shame of never knowing what Tenka looks like in RL ; ;

If any of you want, I'll give you my account # and password if you want to check out my character for a little bit. Sold most of my shit, but you can still look. Let me know.

You guys are all my friends and will continue to be. It won't be the same only being able to talk to you guys in these forums. Hope you guys continue to have a great time because you're all great people.

That sucks man. It's not going to be the same without you.

But I know where you're coming from, and in the end FFXI is another drug like EQ or any other of those MMORPG's. It consumes you and your life and all that nasty stuff.

I dunno what to say man. I mean, it sucks that you have to quit, but having a real life is more important.

We'll never forget you. Quitting the game doesn't mean you're not allowed on the forums. By all means, please come here often.

; ; sandly enough i will miss you too. I mean you were the only whm taru i KNEW! werent a n00b.  plus you were doing what i wanted to do. Well i will eventually be weaning myself off this game more and more. not quitting..nor will i till i think i hit the 60 mark with whm and around 50ish with SMN. I would go out with my friends..but they are all potheads and drunks...and i hate that hehe. So i will sit inside until school starts up Aug22 hehe least thats 4 hours from home that i normally would be using to sleep ...sigh were gonna miss you pal!

I remember in La Thiene Platue, first meeting theref.

It was me (As WHM), Therefused (as WHM), somone named Painflower (another WHM), and an aisan Jaques.  We tore up la thiene and raked in the exp (or thats what it felt like at the time).

I remember running around like n00bs fighing gobs and whatever. I also remember encoutering Elementals. I think it took us awhile to figure out they aggroed to magic.

So much fun.


I also remember partying in the Dunes, with the alliance, making a pact to raise one another because we died so much...

hm..one thing memorable was how u raised me in davoi around 45 lizzies, 26 orcs and 12 pugs...and kept me alive with that teleport...
despite the occasional harassment   ...ur a nice guy nevertheless..
