RDM AF3 -- Teh Pimp Hat

I was wondering if any ppls would be interested in helping me out with this quest... I'm a 61 rdm with my hair exposed fer all the world to see >_>   and all the gimp jokes are getting annoying and painful!  T_T     You don't hafta commit to it right now, but commiting to the idea of thinking about helping me in this endevour is greatly appreciated.  Hell, if you just read this post I owe ya a favour <_>

Seph's post has the info of the quest copied from Allakhazam... i think how it was explained to me was a NIN or /NIN (like a 75 RDM/NIN for example) could tank the ghost, while a WHM assists with dmg and healing the tank... or something like that... you need the shadows cause the ghost has En-Drain on his attacks, and if he hits you hes annoying to kill.  The second NM, the doll, wasn't explained to me, just that he was "easy" to the point of not requiring an explanation... the person who did the explaining of everything was going to duo the nms with a whm friend of hers, but she's almost entirely quit ffxi >_>   so ...ya.... where was I.... oh, ya, I suxors without me hat T_T  Pls help!  I'll give you a cookie...

the doll can kill anyone that is under lvl 65 in the area with its aoe
but other than that 3 ppl 75 can take it. I'll help but after this week tho, still busy with work til end of the week.

Been a bit busy last week, and had to do b-day stuff this week too... not that there was much response, but hopefully our small number can get the deed done.  I can try to wrangle up my rdm/nin friend Celesta and *possibly* her whm friend to help as well if we need it.  I'll try to talk to you guys in-game to try to get a definite date set-up, and if not i'll post a possible time here.  Any days except saturday and sunday, and this friday, are good for me.  Sorta short notice, so prob hafta wait till next week unless i get some response here.  Thanks in advance.

Oh, made myself a b-day present... a sig!     i had to resort to paint shop to make it cause photoshop always pisses me off with its lousy user interface... i should probably learn to use it, but i cant stand it... spent like 10 minutes trying to get a 16mil colour picture outta the frickin thing so i could copy and paste stuff didnt work out, so i went to paintshop and got what i wanted in half a second.  May not have as many features, but it does what i want and it likes me dammit!  Anyways, that was my traditional old-guy rant, i'll let you get on with yer day.

I just wanted a picture file that didnt have a set number of colours in it... cause i kept trying to copy and paste stuff from other pictures, and only some of the colours would show up... and i was like "wtf."  Unless it thought the blue was supposed to be transparent or something...  And this has nothing ta do with my hat

Ya... was trying to copy and paste an edited "Koehdeth" name from a screenshot... i wound up dumping it anyways in favour of the white letters, tho kept the ls crystal in.  I think it was "your in a party" blue for the name.... actually.... now that i think about it, i think the crystal was transparent too.... only the red i put around it was showing up.

Ummm..... tues night might be good for me cause I have no static or anything, but i can never be sure, RL shit pops up too cause thats one of my few nights off to go and howl at the moon.

Try just asking in ls chat during prime time, i went on that run once and it didn't take much to kill the nm.  From what I remember we had a high lvl mnk there and he pretty much pwned it, of course there were others too so I'm not too sure of the accuracy of that statement.

um.... so their next game is on friday... i'll try to have ppl over here if we're getting together for it, and hopefully we don't run too late since it starts at i think 9pm est.  I take no blame for being distracted tho.

BOOOOOYAAAAA!!!!!  So with the help of Krashna, Aelreth, Ahrian, Brightblade, and some random rdm, managed to get this shite done!  (still hafta go to sandy for hat, but otherwise done... also got my pants while i was in garlaige!)

Went to Fei'yin to tango with the ghost who carries around an old coin for some reason... his mistake.

Killed Miser Murphy with 75 rdm/nin, 75 blm, 61 rdm, and 60 rng.  No problems here, his cursna wasnt that painful.  Got the coin, tossed it in the fountain, and communicated with the elvaan rdm ghost for a few seconds.

Went to the tavern in sandy to talk to some ppl, then headed out to Garlaige.

Killed Guardian Statue with 75 pld, 75 (i think) drk, 75 blm, 61 rdm (healing), and 60 rng.  Got kinda painful when Drk got hate (I think pld was asleep or something), but luckily Convert was around so I could keep him alive.  Does an aoe-boom, but if you're on other side of room you can avoid it.  All in all handled pretty well.  Participants got a ginger cookie, filled with buttery goodness, and I got the nail puller and released the spirit (and corpse... ew!) of the elvaan rdm.  He was thankful... but unfortunately his hat is incorporeal too!  So I'm off ta sandy... more to come!
