I will be hosting an event toward the end of this month (actual date not yet selected) that should peak the interest of all of the DD's in the LS!
In LS chat i constantly hear people bragging about how hard they can hit stuff. Well it's time to put up or shut up in The Ultimate Hit Showdown! The objective is simply to do as much damage as you can to a mob in one hit (or spell).
Rules and Conditions:
A target will be selected by the judge and all participants in that competition will be fighting the same type of monster in the same selected zone.
All participants will be organized into two classes, mages and melee.
Participants will all be given three tries to hit the target for as much damage as they can. Players will be judged on a "Best of three" basis.
Before the hit players will be given a chance to gather as much TP as they want. They are allowed to gather more TP and rebuff between tries. All buffs are allowed, (In the case of Mighty Strikes you only get one try as nobody will want to sit there for four hours waiting for you.)
Players will be using any gear they have access to for this event.
There is no level restriction for this event. 1-75 may play.
This is a pride fight and I'm poor as hell, so there will be no reward other then bragging rights for the winner of this match.
Let’s see what the Neobahumut DD's can do!

hm.. i can't hit as hard as a mnk...nuke as good as a blm and heal better than a whm T.T what do i do T.T i'll be the judge i guess  how about enfeebling contest >.> |

we should make sub categories as well, like best single hit w/o WS, or best skillchain. stuff like that.
