Smn? whatever. i'd love to see Drg either get the ability to wear more armor or get some Drg-only stuff at like 35 or 40. that seemsto be when theres nice stuff for other jobs.

when I look at level 40+ armor for drg, the best I can think of is "ordinary" or "plain"

From what I remeber, was I wore RSE gloves and Legs, Raptor Feet, and Carapace Mask +1 then Scorpion Mask +1 I hope that you have the Brig already (dumb checkerboard)

right now i got 2 RSE and the brig, and carapace mask (which sucks big time), and some level35 Windy boots (in your nations's control attack+5). i see nothing better for anything but feet and headgear, and those are only marginal improvements  |

have you tried being more active in the pt? i know this sounds a bit odd. or even a bit of an attack on you as a drg but seriously. I WAS a pretty hack whm if you think about it...always slow at getting the next spell...or 5 levels behind a raiseII lol eew. anyways people still invited me even excluding or "would be" static. mostly because my attitude and my participation in the pt. keeping everyone light hearted damage flowing and no one was the wiser. even when they would ask. i would just say "hey, lets not worry about dieing just yet ok?" i found cracking a few jokes in the pt just kept everyone away the the subject of my subpar AF *shudders garaliage* and half ass spell list...eww. damn you raiseII damn you..
point is you dont NEED that stuff if you make your pt remember you best, over the DRK that is to cocky. ^^ just a helpful tip..iunno if it will help you or not =\

i don't really care if a PT looks at my armor, or remembers what kind of damage i do. i'm happy if people remember i EXIST. i'm asking about armor simply to satisfy myself that i'm currently doing the most i can.

its easy for people to remember a Whm or Blm, cause they are one-of-a-kind at what they do. its apparently much harder to remember a damage dealer cause theres so many (Rng, Drg, Drk, Sam, Mnk, etc.).

That's not true at all lev. People see me all the time and ask me "no more goon?" or "what happened to your drg?" or something of the like. People recognize and know me as a melee dmg dealer. If you know what you're doing, and you are an enjoyable person to have in the party, people will remember you, not your job or your damage.

I get that alot, and never really noticed util I leveled Sam and Whm:
"Give on Drg?" "What happened to Drg?" "Dont you have a high level drg?"
Then, when I began to play drg again, and helping players out, I got:
"Hey! I thought you died!" "Where have you been?"
