I've brought it up a couple of times in the LS and in IRC chat, about making a movie with the LS. I just have fun cuting things together and adding music to videos.
These coming 2 weeks I don't have any classes so I'd be able to devote a good deal of time to working on putting something together. However, we need a topic and/or story.

I need people who can run fraps while they play FFXI so that I can get some more angles. Also, if anyone has the model viewer, that could be very useful in creating more creative movies.

------THEMES------

A music video is one possibility, with contributions from members of the LS. If this is chosen, we would decide on a song and then try to capture shots based on the song. This is probably the hardest to do. You're limited to a 3-4 min movie and to the mood of the song.

An adventure movie, with a storyline. This would require the most resources, but probably holds the most potential. Would probably result in the longest video, which could cause a problem when collecting clips. One problem I faced when making the Ocean Sahagin video was my computers ability in handling such large files, and the time it to render and compress it.

A parody of another game, anime or movie. This would also require a bit of planning, but would be very fun to do and can be very funny. We would have to decide what to make fun of and work from there. This could be very challenging as well.

A non-ficton/story about the LS. Neobahumut's second anniversary is coming up and it might be fun to create a video to celebrate. Unfortunately it won't be able to include everyone from the LSs history, but we do have a plethora of pictures that could be used. This would be the most emotional movie (I dare say it), and I would be very cautions treading this territory. I do not want it to be short of perfect.

I need fraps, but once I get it, I can help.  I'll be happy to grab videos and screens of things, if needed.  I can also work with some of the video aspects, as I can get a copy of Premier from a friend that's into Video.

I can't imagine how hard it'd be to make something serious... as in not a joke, not as in hard to make just anything.  But, that's just me, I don't claim to be a producer or a director.

I'll be shiny and run away from large scary objects! Go in to first person view and just stay on a small section of screen that pie will run through followed closely by something mean and ugly.

I'll start my script of world domination of an elf(taru blm w/ demon head thing) from the future north pole trying to take over the world as an elvaan(cowlander) from the past tries to stop him.  When the elvaan is revealed as the good guy we'll need a whm elvaan with AF(omni).  

It'll be an elf meets elf comedy adventure with explosions and much mithra nudity.  I just require 750k in gil and 28% of whatever the picture makes
