Neobahumut History

I am creating a "about neobahumut" page thingy, and I need to know what you'd like to see in a short summary of the linkshells life. Try to keep it about the linkshell, not yourself or one person, unless you feel one person helped make the linkshell was it was or is. I will compile a page with all of your ideas to make the offical neobahumut history.

I dont know if this is just through my eyes. But I think you should explain how our linkshell members always 'click'. Click as in, we all have our own special identities everyone can relate or remember. Memories like, those days when EVERYONE'S on at the same time. And there are stories after stories of laughter we share. Even those that aren't involved or are new, sit back and watch as they seek party or are fighting.

Also the fact that seniority isn't stressed too much in our linkshell. Every new member should have the same level of respect as a veteran. Despite annoying Genkai pleeds or other anonymous questions. All members are treated equally within our linkshell.

There's a few more but I'm talking too much and I want to play Maple Story.

hm i joined a little short while after the ls was created i think
so i'll give what i know since i was here

December of 2003? - TENKA JOINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was the 2nd girl who joined the ls...i think...Mana was the first? Core invited me in and other ppl in the ls were all around 40-60ish alrdy i think...omni baha quish theref baud roshi dart...seph...mana...were there i think..ephron wasn't there alrdy as far as i remember..

hm..the ls didn't go thru much changes for awhile...not too many new members as far as i can remember...i was the only noob in the ls...lol...well except for core who always bared that name....til he quit

During summer of 2004 i think it was...could be earlier..a few new members joined...the most i had seen since i was in the ls at that time...so it created a diff feeling to the ls..the ls becomes more than quish and theref picking on Tenka...core being pointed as noob..and..omni calling baha a bitch and baha calling omni a whore..stuff like that..i think diff ppl like Niko..paradyce (lol i still remember him)..hm i forgot who else but i know there were few others...joined...

Then it comes what i call the low time of NB...suddenly alot of ppl chose to leave...thererf...baha...quish all left one after another...and many ppl who were new didn't stay...so the ls..was..empty..often i was the ONLY one there the whole night.. (-.- and yes i still stayed)...usually it was only...me roshi...and some other person there...the ls was gonna break..until we decided to recruit more ppl!

..and yes..that's where most of u start to come to play ^^....shortly after we got ALOT of new ppl in...cow..krash...arroes..riven...neodyne...oopy...brightblade...chavion...ppl started to join..i saw new members almost everyday for a few weeks...and since then...and since everyone who was recruited were around my lvl at that time (40 - 50ish...) everyone had a good time

(Wow this is getting long)...then i think it comes to new year..january of 2005...omni suddenly wanted to announce 2 things... Omni and I would be getting married...(yes i'm still waiting for the ceremony...and great thx pierce)...and Omni wants to be in a HNMLS....we all decided omni shouldn't leave and make NB itself a end game ls...so from that time on...we sorta set a rule "Do not invite ppl under lvl 60 or rank 5..." with a few exceptions...that rule applies til now...and i guess the latest significant event is omni's static joined our ls...so we suddenly got wholebunch of 75's ^^ setting our goal towards an end-game ls even closer...

so that was VERY LONG history...hope it helps ^^

Haha, I just hoped in last october. I was a badass lv. 8 war on another server. Core prommiced candy to lure me over to Seraph and gave me a pearl. This pissed alot of people off as I was a noob, and the LS didn't WANT a noob. But they helped me more then I can say and I spend some of my time (on the rare occasions lately) helping new noobs. Arround lv 30 for me alot of people quit. Quishka, Bahu, Dragnok and a few others. Arround this time Omni concidered leaving NB for an end-game ls. As we all know, he stayed with us. Soon after onmi had a tantrum and broke the shell then claimed it was a mistake. Then he re made it. Now all is well, and there is plenty of food to go arround.

And everybody loves Tenka. Thats a constant.

I'm not sure exactly what Core wants... big events and stuff that we did together? I can think of a few- doing mission 5-1 and 5-2 in a night, the 1-30 party, LS ballista, trying out HNM...

But really, it's the several small things we do to help each other out every day that mean the most, to me at least. Helping out with AF keys/fights, power leveling, lending gear/money, just the small spontaneous things. It's really fun when we do big group things, but small stuff happens more often.

Oh, also- WE NEVER HAVE ANY DRAMA!!!!

NB is going to be a HMNLS?  Well lets get going!  The one I'm in is pretty crappy.  They keep inviting level 65 drgs and crap like that...

Oh and for the history, I've been here a month.  Haven't broke anything yet.

Ya need ta talk ta your little linkshell leader over there. We did one and then dropped the idea. Our goal was for everyone to reach at least level 70. That way we have some decent power when hunting HNMs.

I say we gather everyone together, finish that goal and go hunting. It would be nice if those participating to look around for time of deaths.

I was game for the idea, but I'm a full time student, and working full time at The Home Depot, soooooo I don't have much time to log.

ehhh >_> lets see....I remember i first saw omni cant remember where and when i met him but i do remember he was wearing brigandine  and a wind spear (I thought it was cool) I kept askin him to lemme join his ls...all the ls's i came across was breakin apart...i called that the "Great depression of Dart" I finally nagged him enough to lemme in >_>...then i started to hit on tenka and i was on most of the time till my friends created one ls so i moved over...wtf this is pointless >_>...i dont even remember crap T_T on other news...i might be forced to leave neobahumut due to HNMLS...Hopefully they change the rules cuz i dun wanna leave T.T well....ima go poke some stuff now...later

almost every HNMLS will let you have a family LS....if they don't....that's stupid and you shouldn't join ^^

Thats pretty much how it was back then.


It wasn't long before that artical where we were having trouble with people leaving and what not while everyone was getting geared up for the new school year (me with college). Amen to Tenka and Roshi for sticking to with for the LS. When I got back to playing steady again, I remember being flooded with tells about NB. A lot were concerened with the shell breaking, and people wondering where I had been.

I'm not really sure how I pulled off getting people back into the linkshell, but we made a n amazing comeback just in time for the anniversary.

I was starting to reach 70 (didn't beat maat until febuary). But at 70 I had to decide what I wanted to do; Neobahumut or HNM. Our LS was nowhere near capable of taking down HNMs, and at the time there was no way I would be able to hold both. No one wanted to take leader of the LS (well, everyone seemed resistant to change leaders).

So it was either break the shell and do HNM, or take what I've got and stick with NB all the way. I decided that would be a good time to also propose to Tenka. Since then we've been seeking out people interested in social LS with ambition.

We've grown tremedously in recent weeks (with 20 members on a full night), and we've tasted victory on Roc. We can almost definately take quite a few HNMs now, but there is some planning that goes into that.

You can just go back and look into the old posts and threads to get an idea of the things we've done as an LS.

This post talks to me, in fact, tomorrow, I'm going to finish G3, and party with my warrior till i pass out. It's fun to level lower jobs and all, but I want to be able to do some of the things you guys get to. Oh, I need to do promy's / zilart missions for sky/moon and what not, so i don't get tossed out from pt invites. I'm really looking forward to the HNM part if it ever comes.

Warrior is going to be my main until i find the time to lvl dark knight. And if you need me for anything, let me know, I'll do what i can whenever possible.
