so..uh... its that time again, i expect my rng to hit lvl 50 by friday (actually earlier) ... and u know what that means ^^ ... so, any volunteers? I've got a group of 5 with my static as many of u know, and here's what we need among us (for the basic coffer pieces & the dark spark coffer pieces)
Ranger (x2)
body - monastic cavern coffer
hands - garlaige coffer & dark spark
legs- crawlers nest coffer
Monk
head - garlaige coffer
body - beadeaux coffer
gloves - crawlers nest coffer & dark spark
White mage
head - garlaige coffer
hands - beadeaux coffer & dark spark
legs- crawlers nest coffer
Paladin
head - garlaige coffer
hands - eldieme coffer & dark spark
legs- beadeaux coffer
... so to sum it up:
4x crawlers nest coffer key (well 3, i have mine already)
5x garlaige citadel coffer key
2x monastic cavern coffer key
3x beadeaux coffer key
1x eldieme coffer key
now i know you're all getting excited and such, so try and stay calm as you sign up to help... the only ones we really would like to get done this weekend (i'd imagine) are 3 garlaige keys (for rng lvl 52 and whm 54), crawlers key (mnk 54), and eldieme key (pld 54) ... the reason i name those is because those are the ones (short of the whm lvl 60 one) where we have to fight dark spark, and that includes all the 52-54 coffer pieces... so... anyone up for helping out??? (>.<) only 5 keys..... i guess the only ones im really not looking forward to are the garlaige ones (bad experiences, u know what im talkin bout theref) which i'd like to be able to rape through the mobs for.. the other two should be easy enough for us to handle on our own... so plz guys... *gets on knees* ... help out ??

While were on AF quests, I have my AF3 to do: Talk to the old man, the collector of antiques and at the exit of Qufim.
Bury the ring at I-10 of Xarcabard and wait until it passes 0:00 JST (Earth Time). You can dig it out.
Show it to Chalvato at the Castle in San d'Oria and you are told to go to the altar of Davoi Monastic Cavern.
Go to Davoi and enter from H-11, and investigate the alter in the dead end of J-8. A ghost Bugaboo appears. Kill it and complete the quest.
Near this Warload, there are Warloads and so clearing them is the most important subject.
Recommended PT configutration: 12 members of LV58 at least.
I assume I'm goign to need help with Bugaboo. And KI is confusing me; they say like I have to get the Coffer key then kill Dark Spark then go back to Jueno and trade it the drop from dark to some dude and get my gloves. well then wtf did i need the coffer key?   |

Lemme clarify, for the dark spark shit (every job needs to do this i believe at some point for their af) ... u talk to guslam in the armor shop (maybe it was weapon shop) in upper jeuno... he tells you bout some old piece of armor or some shit. u go open a coffer, you get a key item (for my drg it was "old gauntlets") ... take that key item and go back to talk to guslam, he doesnt tell u shit. u take it to the mithra in tenshodo office in lower jeuno, she tells u what u need to know for 1000gil. next, u go to port jeuno, and downstairs (near the AH) theres a ... click on that, u get cutscene with a ghost of some sort. then u go to zvhal, kill dark spark, click on the torch afterwards and u get another key item (some flame or some shit) .... then u go back to port jeuno, click the , and voila, done. to put it more simply, u get some af piece thats key item (unwearable) by opening the coffer. you do some talking to NPCs, then go kill dark spark, then talk to NPCs and then your AF piece is refurbished as such so that you are able to wear it. get it? as for the bugaboo crap, i'll help out if i can ... still 43 rng tho >< ... by the weekend like i said i hope to hit 50... i can also help usin drg, but i have little to no equip for it fyi. quick addon: the dark spark fight is easy as shit, did it with 4 people for drg... i had a pld, drk, drg(me) and rdm... rdm (dingdong) was 60 at the time i believe, rest of us were 55-57. penta thrust did 1200 dmg to the bomb, the thing was basically raped no problem. since everyone needs to do this, its fairly easy to get a pt together for it, just a long travel >< ... for a full pt of people who need it tho u only need to fight the guy once then everyone can click the . |

Thanks to Baudan, Tenka, Zeroth & Nikopiko i now have my garlaige key  (you're gonna be unimpressed theref: <1 hour) ... but still need 4 more for the rest of my group >< Theref, just hit 48, going for more pt'n tonite, will hit 50 for sure, opening my garlaige coffer tonight too (hopefully) and then fighting dark spark some time before monday to finish off my 52 piece.... my 54 piece i'll probably solo with whm sub.... sneak & invis it through >< ... it looks to be a pain... travel to windy, travel to mhaura, travel to eldieme, travel to oztroja, go deep inside oztroja and get in the middle of a room with leeches (that aggro & link) in the middle and yags (that aggro & link) around the middle area >< ... and sit there and hit scavenge a few times until i get some item that i need ... ew. after that, i dont need help till my 58 piece (davoi coffer) but i wouldnt mind startin on that one early if possible.. |

.... it'd be nice to get these outta the way after lastnite's events >< not only did i have a bad day at work/home, but stupid servers are down 10 hours so i cant feed my addiction, i get on and die 3 times (all really stupid deaths too now that i look back) .... and whats worse is i couldnt find my crawlers coffer (it wasnt up) and my 3 people in my group got aggro and warped outta garlaige so i was left with 3 people (not enough to open second gate)... and right before that, n00b soulhunter got killed and lost his lvl 50 so he wanted to stick around with the 3 of us and kill dc's to get his 100 exp (it was 2 rng's and a rdm) ... was goin okay, jet stream was sketch, but meh.. then rdm aggros bats and they link with other bats and his hp goes red and skel comes and aeroga II's and we all die. and i lose my lvl. bah. so i gotta get lvl 50 again before i continue with my AF hunt.
since im on my bitch sesh, im gonna add that i just woke up at 6:30 this mornin (after all that happenin around 1:30) and jumped into the shower and turns out we had no hot water........ so i ran back to my bed which was thankfully still warm, then i ended up bein 20 mins late for work ... and then i burned myself making me coffee.. and then my boss yelled at me for 10 mins about how i "fucked up on a drawing" and had a measurement way off and i proved him wrong after arguing for another 20 minutes and he says "oh alright, agreed" and walks off. i wanna be able to bitch at him. and now the fax machine's broken and somehow im to blame (i didnt even use it today?) and my coffees cold after the me vs boss incident... and blah blah blah. *sigh* 9am and im already wanting to go home... 8 more hours..just 8 more hours..

side note (that made it all okay): we killed some NM bat in garlaige that was just sittin there... he was easy as pie, but had massive HP.. and the bats that added (although dc) were the ones that caused problems. but he dropped a 380k cape.
another side note: i just burned myself again.... man, even coffee which used to be my best of friends hates me now.

why am i always the one to miss these spectacular drops *sigh* ah well.. i guess it cant be helped. I did however hit 53, but in doing so i quit 7 different pt's all suffering for the PLD NOT the WHM, in fact i was almost nearly asked to leave the pt for this guys friend... heh i have no idea what thats like, trying to get someoen to leave for a friend? i mean jees.. right Soulhunter? heh. to bad he aint on this forum. Cmon Quishka get his ass on here ! lol
found out today his Motherboard friend. X.X he should be back on the 6th for training. but i still want to pt tonight i need 56...which that RaiseII scroll has gone up again...its in the figures now... 200k..flat...i hope it goes down ; ; 75% back i mean JEES!!

actually last time i checked it was 180k...just this morning it fluxed to the 200k marker.. (last sale being 200k and the one before 198k) ...why? i mean they arent getting rarer are they? or are the JP finally taking it back up a notch..if so PLEASE bring the prices of fang necklaces and beetle rings and my fav tree saplings and cuttings back up!!! other wise me and roshi are gonna go broke soon!

Heh dude, you don't seem to understand.. or maybe you do and are just trying to ignore it  ... 200k is the ALREADY deflated price of a rare and very worthwhile scroll. It's meant to be expensive, as are scrolls such as refresh (which is climbing back up, now at 40k last i heard). Items like fang necklaces and beetle rings are not very rare, and in fact are quite common and often overstocked (due to the low level crafting requirement for them, and low synth cost), hence their pricing at the moment. As for the tree cuttings/saplings, the information on how to grow ores is out, so there has been a flood of people into this market, and as a result an increase in the supply of these items, meaning lower prices unless demand increases even more (but as para was complainin, people arent buying up saplings atm, there are so many available already). |
