I feel you Pierce. I did BCNM40 a day or so ago as BLM and it TOTALY SUCKED !><! It wasn't because we weren't prepared, nor were we inexperienced. We lost on *my* orb because too many people were getting tired and leaving, so we had to replace at least *5* members. I waited 7 hours in a party for this dang thing only to die on my run because the other BLM got 'too tired' and left. The RDM we got was a retard and couldn't Diaga enough, making my GA spells, the only real damage we had, useless
40 seals gone. I SWEAR I’m going to blacklist anyone like that from now on. If you can't stay for the entirety of an event you shouldn't sign up

Oh, the original, successful set up was RNG RNG SAM(With /ranged attack) BLM BLM RDM. The other black mage was smart and Diaga'd the worms as much as she could while I rested, GA'd, and finished the BCNM.
This changed to RNG THF BLM BLM RDM WHM, which did super well until the other BLM got tired and ditched us
My run was RDM RDM BLM RNG THF WHM...The RNG and THF died countless times, the WHM preferred to Erase the RNG instead of me at this point, when of course I’m more important as I need to rest for MP to kill them all fast (Rasp
), and like I said, no one was using Diaga effectively so any damage was just Regen’d back. It just sucked SO much after waiting all that time, being so hopeful, dealing with so many other people ditching us, all to lose my orb because some of them were TOO TIRED...
I didn’t mean to make this post this long or so full of rant, however remembering this event ticks me off so much
Don’t worry Pierce, we WILL do good, we WILL kill whatever BCNM mobs we decide to fight, and we WILL be successful. As long as no-one disconnects, I’m sure we can work any trouble out during the BCNM. This LS is full of talented people and I’m sure we can pull it off.
(Oh by the way Dscar, I don’t blame you for any of this. This was your first BCNM right? There probably wasn’t a good way for you to estimate the time needed to do it and yes, Work > Game by far. I just hate the others that signed up without being willing to commit to the whole thing due to sleep)
::Edit:: Well, since Krashna probably won't be on for a while, Tenka's off somewhere, Pierce has already had to deal with one set of BCNM60's, and I think Villain is up for BCNM40, it seems safe for me to conclude this thread for BCNM60's. Ok in English that means my party is no longer going >_< Only really effects roshi though
so...sorry roshi. However, if anyone want's to do BCNM40; Worm's Turn, Dart and I have planned to do one this weekend. BLM and anyone with a ranged attack can do great with it.
