I now own World of Warcraft. Let me know if you still play and where I might find you! I will be playing with my roommates primarily (they bought me the game), but if there is interest in getting a neobahumut guild going on there, I will consider doing that.

I play horde on the Cenarion Circle realm, currently my project is a female blood elf warrior. I've been playing on and off for the last 4-5 years, so I'm pretty knowledgeable about it. You'll probably find me on Talibeth when I'm not at work. Would be awesome to see you around. Smiley

So, the game is about a bajillion times more fun with the new expac than it was in the last 5 years. They really overhauled everything, and I can't really come up with anything bad to gripe about. If you have at least a minute amount of interest in the game, trying out the new stuff is definitely worth it. I haven't had this much fun since I first started. Cheesy

Not a fan of the wow battle system, and kinda wish it was less solo, but its enjoyable. Nothing will replace FFXI, so I should probably drop that attitude Tongue

exactly why i never enjoyed wow all that much. sure there are raids and you can pug, but the whole gamer mentality of the players is nowhere near as collaborative as ffxi was.  Then there's how easy it is... just this thanksgiving my bro was in a lich king pug and he asked me to play while he went and grabbed dinner from the chinese restaurant... 30min and no one ever realized he was gone, and it was supposed to be some hard boss too... was boring to me... but to each there own, he's been playing since day 1 of wow, and he still enjoys it.

It's just not a difficult game to play, FFXI was very VERY involving, but to the point where I think it was a bit too much so. WoW is easy to pick up, but more importantly easy to put down.

easy to put down depends on the person.  My brother plays during family dinners, and while watching family movies... I'm sure if you could play on your cell, he'd be playing while working and while in the WC...  but for me it was super easy to put down wow, partially b/c when I was playing it was when my pc was broken and I couldn't play ffxi... so I had ffxi to go back to as a reason to put wow down.

It isn't too objectionable though, they had a lot of facets that I wished ffxi had, like a much more interactive environment, and the open edge zones is a big plus. I suppose I could play it now... as I don't have any other game I'm playing besides farmville and other waste of time games on facebook... and wow > farmville. I just can't afford the time or money to put into it while in school... hopefully in a year, when i'm done with school, they have ff14 fixed

Well, you'll find me on WoW if you look hard enough. Dunno about FFXIV anymore, wasn't too impressed with it to begin with in the beta. It kind of turned me off it. However I did buy a psp with final fantasy tactics, effing love that game!

I play as much as I can, been playing as long as Krashna. I've read the books know all the mechanics, all that jazz, however, Omni, end game heroic dungeons are incredibly tough and require a good amount of coordination. So fret not! It went from easy easy in Lich King to a much harder game. It's good and bad, because of que times and stupid players. For DPS it goes from 28-48 minute wait times. Anyway, my level 85 Druid is Senpai on Malygos PvE server. For the Alliance!
