Roshi... make sure you get one with a good graphics card. I couldn't run it on my Intel M4500HD video, both on my laptop and the desktop I built about 3 months ago.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest alienware minimum for a laptop. My laptop isn't that old, and I scored a 247 or something on the benchmark. This game is the most graphically demanding thing in existence right now, I do believe.

Yeah, my Radeon 4350 couldn't play it, fortunately, I was able to get a new machine and a much better video card.

yeah probably won't be until next quarter that i can afford a laptop that will meet my needs... have 1k in the bank atm... probably have another 1k spending money from next student loan installment... but i guess the fortunate thing is that i'm even if I can't afford it atm, the server i'd want isn't available atm either... so no lost time for me as of yet... and the main purpose of the laptop will be to run autocad architecture and revit architecture for school... ffxiv would be the icing on the cake lol
