Elvaan have less STR and higher DEX in 14 than in 11 >.>
Then again, considering you start out with ~15 or so in each stat and get to put ~20+ points into whatever the F you want per level, race doesn't really matter much at all this time around.

I am also debating on whether I should be an elf again. Won't really know until I get in and do some actual creating.
I've usually kept a creed in most MMO's, where I don't repeat a character throughout them, so I may change the name as well.
Again, will have to wait and see!

I stuck with the cat people, but this time my kitty looks completely different than in FFXI. In FFXI I made my character look like me, now she looks nothing like me at all xD. I think you should play whatever makes you the most happy when you look at it. You should play a race that you can connect with  . The cut-scenes are more fun when you feel connected to your character. |

hence the reason I have to wait to see all the customizing options before choosing for good!
Also, I have developed an affinity towards most female characters, as it's easier for me to relate to them for some reason, dunno why, just is. Maybe I'll have to make some sort of back story to go with it. :O

It's the "-na" at the end of the name, most people thought it meant I was a girl. *shrug*

I stuck with the same features for my character. Midland Hyur, default face and hair black. I even went Pugilist like when I started as MNK in FFXI. It brings back so many memories.
Anyways, it would be cool to see you as an Elezen Lancer. But if not then Highlander Hyur would be my vote for you.
