I am in Lindblum, started in Grindania. The opening to that I found to be infinity times more awesome than Lima Lominsa.

So, is everyone sticking on Lindblum after the beta ends?

If so, it looks like I will be joining you all after the official release at the end of the month.  My ID got munged in the 20 times they changed how you log into your account on the square website, so they are telling me that I am now at the end of the line as far as beta invites will go.

As soon as I can get the beta, or the game is released, I should be able to get on and join everyone.

Personally, I find the city of Ul'dah MUCH MUCH MUCH better of a starting place than Grinadia.  Grinadia just feels way too scripted to me...with not much to do but follow the rail.

Ul'dah feels more like home to me.  And the Adventurer's Guild owner is a true hottie!!!!!

Gridania is pretty much Windurst to me.. I am doing the storyline mission right now it's quite interesting. I've seen all 3 openings too and imo the Gridania one is the best.. Ul'Dah one was good only because I made a very cute/hot character and it was fun to watch him >.>;
