I'm conflicted. I didn't even like FFXI. I loved you guys. This linkshell is what kept me logging in every day. Couldn't care a lot less about the game or the plot.

I think 14 looks a bit different than 11. Still
having problems deciding if I'm really going to let go of 11. There's this part of me saying after all the time I put into it I better not.

I quit about 2 weeks ago. My friends and I decided to finally give WoW a try and I must say I am still surprised as to how much fun the game is. The community is very rude, and mostly consists of what looks like middle school children, but the game itself when played with good friends is amazing fun. Dare I say I haven't had so much fun with an mmo since years 2003-2006 of FFXI.
We are going to stick to WoW until FFXIV comes out. All of us veteran FFXI players and all of us just love WoW now. I don't care what people say it is a well made fun game with so much addicting gameplay and operant conditioning and positive reinforcement to keep you hooked I could guess it was designed by Skinner himself.

I haven't played FFXI in long time. However, I'm going to play FFXIV when it comes out =^^=. I am fairly excited about it... I really hope it doesn't suck jello =__=.
Those who are going to play should all decide on server to meet on ^___^. It would be fun =D

I'm still in FFXI >.>/ I mainly play with two of my other online friends.
There's this new thing called Abbysea where you can go in as an alliance and kill things for hours on end getting nice exp. It starts out ~70 exp per mob, but goes up as you kill. After a while you get to 600 exp/kill (610 if you do something special I forget). I think I got about 200k exp in around 6 hours, or whatever 77-80 was with 7 merits. It was pretty fun and pretty chillax. Groups are shouting for it all the time. Sooooooooooooooo...
If you want to just hop into FFXI and get started with a party, it isn't that bad anymore. There's usually at least one group shouting for members (a full alliance) at any given time. If you aren't 70+ though, you're kinda sunk however >->
