Niko, u have to realize that if it's your af you're asking for help with, it's not quite realistic to ask other people to FIND help for you.... You can't rely on that by any means :\ ... your best bet for garlaige is to just ask 3 people you know, don't ask one and hope that they'll bring two others along. It's not too tough to get a group of 3 people to come with you there. The hard part is getting the group for keys, and you're passed that one.
As for your whm af, there's only one viable way to do this (the fight part in particular): go with other whm's. Then you'll have yourself, them, your friends, their friends, etc. Talk to other whm's around your level that need it done, and I'm sure they'd be interested and you can start organizing times.
As for dark spark, this fight is a joke ... get me and soul to come along and someone else with stun (pld, blm, drk, etc) and we're set. Not tough at all, you even have the scroll to tele out there so its not out of the way.
I think the main problem you might find in getting help on these things from people you know is in the fact that you don't even care to pursue whm further, you talk of quitting the game within a months time, etc. Why should people take hours of their own time to help you do some of these things if you're not even gonna be wearing the af, and in a few weeks gonna be tossin it out the window anyways?
