Myself and Coreno have spent every weeknight for the past 2 weeks working on re-building the front page of neobahumut.com (as the splash page promised), so that it can be something we can all be proud of.

Tonight, as my 1337th post, I am announcing our new front page, now better than ever! What makes it better (other than being really pretty)?

  • Twitter feed! No other FFXIV website has a feed on its home page, so you can always be sure that the newest information will be right there!
  • You can log in and register with the forums right from the front page! Tell your friends to do it now!
  • Publish news directly to the front page! We have a brand new "News" forum that feeds directly to the front page! Now anyone can write a news story and have it on our front page instantly! (special rules to follow)
  • A picture of a cat!

Some more minor features are planned in the future, but the bulk of things are out of the way. I will also be creating some signatures for you guys to use when you post on other forums. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please let us know!

Let us know what you think (anything less than "Stonking Great" will be met with much scorn)!

As awesome as it would have been to leave those posts up, it causes more problems for us down the road.

Is it a ... REAL picture of a cat? No, it must be CGI, no way we could afford a real cat picture. Still awesome as waffles!
