I really dont know what happend, or why I seem to be blind to it, but I seem to never see ANYTHING about mission 5-1. When ever I hear of rank 5, or I am invited to a "Rank 5" Mission, it's in reality 5-2. I dont think I was ever asked or seen anyone going for 5-1. Why the big secret?  Anywho, as far as I know, it's a battle of sorts, and seeing that a very large portion of the LS is rank 5 (and I hope to god they're on 5-1 and not 5-2, or heads will roll); I figured that it -should- be rather simple to get the LS togetther to complete mission 5-1. While I'm at it... where do I go to get it, and what do we have to do? (I am aware that it is a level 50 cap) |

I have no idea where to get it or what it is, but I need 5-1 also. Count me in when it comes time to doing it.

Freakin nubs.
You get the mission in san d'oria (from gate guard and blah blah blah. .talk to Halver, talk to King, watch your cutscenes.. u know the drill)..
You hear that the seal that is protecting Fei'yin from the baddies is broken or some shiznat, so they give u a new key item Fei'yin Seal. They tell you to go put it in place. You go up to Fei'yin (in Beaucedine north end for all u peeps that havent been there) and you first track down Eastern Shadow and kill him and give me his Eurytos' Bow drop (this part is optional). Then you go to the burning circle in there... I forget location, but its easy to look up on MysteryTour, Allakhazam, etc. When you go in you fight a bunch of skells.. one is the Archmage and the rest are just his little insignificant friends. This is very similar in setup to a BCNM 40, except they kinda run at you from all sides when you go in, they're not all clustered together. Oh, and they're not as easy to sleep (sleepga won't do shit btw, they're undead ergo no dark based magic works, only bards with light based lullaby work) but it IS possible. Anyways, you just have to kill the Archmage dude. After that you get cutscene.. don't have to worry bout the rest.
It is a level 50 cap, and only one party allowed in at a time (although I'm told that if one party goes in and completes it, another group can then enter and have assistance from the first group that is still inside).
Anyways, its easy as pie.. a level 50ish group is simple to get together for this, and thats why nobody ever says anything about it. For the shadowlord (5-2) its the big would-be-end-game fight and you need some higher levels in there and its a LOT harder... thats why people make more of a fuss over it.
